Over the past year, the PTCA has been working on a cookbook filled with recipes from staff, family and community members! We are in the final stage of development and need your help! Students have submitted designs for the cover art of the cookbook. Please take a moment to fill out the survey below and VOTE on which design you think should be used. Today 7 third and fourth graders from Orleans Elementary School took their places to compete in the Scribz national spelling bee. After nine rounds, we had ourselves a winner. The third grade winner was Aydria and the fourth grade winner was Sophie. From there we went to the ninth round where Sophie sealed the deal with the correct spelling of the word discoveries. There was so much more to the competition than just this piece. The seven students that stepped up and bravely chose to participate in something new were 3rd graders Bella, Aydria, Maximus, Beatrice, Dawson and 4th graders were Acea and Sophie.

January 15, 2026: All afterschool activities for the schools of OCSU (Albany, Barton, Brownington, Glover, Irasburg, Orleans, and Lake Region) are cancelled for today as the National Weather Service warns of freezing at about 4:00 pm.
