Here are are the lunch and breakfast menus for November 2023.

Check out the festive cookies Cooking Club whipped up last week 🎃👻🧙♀️
Clubs happen once per week for middle school students and give them the opportunity to practice transferable skills while engaging in activities that interest them. Ask your student which club they participate in :)
The first graders have spent the first 2 months of school learning about tools. They centered their learning around the book The Most Magnificent Thing which is a story about a girl inventing something magnificent even though it was really hard. The kids just finished this unit by creating their own magnificent things!

Congratulations to our middle school soccer team on an excellent season ending with a 2-0 win over Barton. Tonight our nine 8th graders were recognized for “senior night” as they played their final game as an Orleans Owl.
A huge thank you to Coach Phillips for all the work with the team this season and to Peter Badertscher for his time coaching our IVS players, all of the refs throughout the season and all the families and friends that come out to support!
⚽️ until next year!

Wear RED and help us cheer on our 8th graders as they hit the pitch for their final middle school soccer game!
Students attending the game must be accompanied by an adult!

Congratulations to Orleans' team for playing through the rain and mud to place 2nd in the Orleans Jr. Fall Soccer Tournament today!
And thank you to everyone who purchased concessions and supported the PTCA.

Orleans PTCA will be holding a concession stand at the Orleans Jr. Fall Soccer Tournament tomorrow from 9am while supplies last. All monies raised will benefit the PTCA's efforts to host family friendly events!
Good luck to our Orleans Owls who play in this community league!

The Lake Region Union Elementary-Middle School District and the Central Orleans Family Education Center are requesting proposals for plowing, sanding, and snow removal for the 2024 season. Interested parties should email mkittredge@ocsu.org for details.
This week was fire prevention week. Kindergarten, 1st, & 2nd grade went to the Orleans Fire Station to learn about fire safety.

It was a beautiful fall night for soccer. Our Owls fell to Coventry 4-1 but worked hard the whole game. Catch the next game Tuesday vs Troy at 4pm.

The students at Orleans Elementary School were eager to get their hands dirty in their garden this past Thursday. Each grade, from first to sixth, participated in harvesting veggies (including many carrots and beets)! The kids very much enjoyed pulling up these veggies and seeing how big they grew! Ms. Grace also got right in there with the kids, getting her hands dirty pulling up a couple beets and carrots herself to demonstrate how to correctly pull up two different types of vegetables from the garden. 🥕

Another great game for our middle school soccer team. Come cheer them on tomorrow at 4pm as they face Craftsbury at home!
